All available catalogues can be downloaded from our ‘Catalogues’ button on the main menu online or by contacting Goresbridge sales office direct on 00353 (0) 59 9775145 or email info@goresbridge.com. On receipt of the catalogue, read carefully through the Conditions Of Sale.

Goresbridge sales are situated in Co Kilkenny in the south of Ireland and are easily accessible from Dublin, Cork and Waterford airports. For those who prefer to travel by ferry, Rosslare is only an hour’s drive, while Dublin Port or Dun Laoghaire are within two hours. Sometimes the sales can finish late, so if you are interested in a late lot, it may advisable to arrange your homeward journey for the following day. We aim to sell 25 lots per hour, so this should serve as a guide on any given day.

Horses are viewed in numerical order on the flat and over fences, from 9.00am on the morning of sale. They may be tried at the discretion of the vendor. We now offer an online viewing gallery and online bidding platform. All lots will be available to view on the gallery one week in advance of the sale but we advise to keep revisiting as lots are updated during this time.

Full conditions are stated in the catalogue, but for easy reference.

1.Sport Horse Performance Sales:
Every horse is sold with a veterinary certificate from an approved list of specialist equine vets. These pre sales ‘vettings’ will have taken place within 14 days of the sale and follow the full five stage examination format. Following purchase, buyers also have the option to have their horse re- examined on site by another specialist vet from the Goresbridge panel. Certificates are lodged in the office and can be read by any potential buyer prior to sale. If you decide to re-examine you must declare your intention to do so within 30 minutes of the fall of hammer.

2. All horses sold at our Sport Horse Performance Sale are offered with a veterinary certificate, which must be from a member of the Goresbridge veterinary panel, appointed by Goresbridge Sales (no other veterinary certificate will be accepted). Two-year-olds, yearlings, foals and broodmares are sold without veterinary certificates. Broodmares sold as ‘in foal’ must have a pregnancy certificate dated within 14 days of sale and covering cert.

It is recommended to review the conditions of sale before purchase.

Horses will be showcased on the flat and over show jumps on Monday followed by cross country performance.

Potential buyers may try horses prior to the sale by appointment with the auctioneers. Please contact the sales office for details.

Purchasers can also try them during the sale at any stage at the owner’s discretion.
