How the Copper Beach Sale Came About

Following the tremendous success of the recent Go For Gold Select Event Sale, Goresbridge Horse Sales are proud to announce the launch of its brand-new select potential event horse sale, which will be known as “The Copper Beach Sale” scheduled for May 25th, 2026. With the growing demand for elite event horses, “The Copper Beach Sale” has been formulated to present a quality selection of 4- and 5-year-old future potential event horses. Although, while primarily focused on eventers, the sale will be accepting a select number of potential showjumpers. The precise timing of the sale allows for entries to be campaigned in advance of the sale.

The Copper Beach Sale will feature a select group of 20–30 high-quality competition horses in a comprehensive catalogue, who will be offered to the market at The Sales Complex, Goresbridge on Monday, May 25^th 2026. Horses will be carefully selected by an established panel of judges and will be showcased in Goresbridge prior to the sale. 

Copper Beach, the namesake of the sale, stands as one of Goresbridge’s most distinguished graduates. Retiring earlier this year at the age of 19, he enjoyed a remarkable international career with standout performances at Burghley, Badminton, and Pau. His success and longevity embody the quality and talent Goresbridge aims to showcase, making the Copper Beach Sale a fitting tribute to the calibre of horses that have passed through its rings.
